Towards better Writing instruction in HK: 7 things we can do

What thoughts come to your mind regarding the teaching and learning of Writing, as a result of this session?

1. Encourage students to learn from mistakes
2. Don’t overmark the writing (Allow mistakes)
3. Create some workshops to promote creative writing
4. Be self-motivated in marking or revising on our own
5. Enjoy writing
6. Create some collaborative work to share and organise ideas with classmates
7. Give more feedbacks to students on the ideas and organisation, rather than grammar
